We had some great optional science fair projects! Great job kids!
100 Days Smarter - What a FUN Day!!!!
Torn Paper Snowmen
We Got Elf-ed!
An elf snuck into our room and threw paper everywhere! We were so excited!
Ice Cream Party
We were so excited to celebrate our great classroom behavior! Our marble jar is halfway full! We get a marble everytime the whole class is doing a great job. To celebrate, we had an ice cream sundae party. When the jar is all the way full, we will have a pizza party!
Lego Story Starters
We enjoyed using our Lego Story Starter kids to build some Thanksgiving stories this week. Students wrote about the stories they created with their Legos! They did awesome!
Let's Celebrate E-Learning!
Our class had 100% participation on our eLearning Day! We celebrated with a balloon dance party! Thank you for making sure your child did such great work!
Halloween Party
We had a great time at our Halloween party. Thank you to all of the parents who donated items and to our parent helpers. The kids completed four games - pass the pumpkin, pin the nose on the pumpkin, decorate a cookie, and make a tootsie roll pop ghost. They were awesome!
Project Lead The Way
Have your child tell you all about our first Project Lead the Way unit! This unit focused on the sun, moon, and stars. We finished the unit by creating a playground that solved the kids' problem: They were too hot to play outside at recess. Students designed a playground that let them cool off!
See You At Conferences!
We made something to show you!
We are doing great with our new, daily seat choices!
Flexible Seating
We are on our way to becoming a flexible seating classroom! Stay tuned!
Tally Mark Fun
This week we practiced making tally marks with Popsicle sticks. We got to eat our afternoon snack each day while we worked. Keep practicing those tally marks at home!
FIRST DAYS FUN
We had a great three days! We have been busy! I have a feeling the kids will sleep well this weekend. Did you hear about our magic play dough? Have your child tell you all about the magic! We made some school buses for our bulletin board and graphed some yummy M and M candy! My favorite part of the week was when we got to practice read to self for the first time with our book boxes.
